View image metadata, EXIF information, dimensions, camera details, and file information directly in your browser.

Images are analyzed entirely in your browser. No images or metadata are uploaded to any server.

Drag and drop image files here, or click to browse. Supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF.

View Image Metadata Online

Instantly inspect the EXIF data, camera details, GPS location, date and time, and other embedded metadata of any image — entirely in your browser. Upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF files and explore all available metadata without ever sending your images to a server. Your files stay completely private and are never uploaded.

Features & Functionality

Batch Metadata Inspection

Upload multiple images at once and inspect each one individually. Switch between images using the Previous / Next navigation without losing your place.

Full EXIF Data

View detailed camera information including make, model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length, flash, white balance, and more.

GPS Location Awareness

If your image contains GPS coordinates, the tool clearly displays them with a privacy warning so you are aware before sharing the file publicly.

Date & Time Separation

The tool clearly distinguishes between the file's last-modified date and the original camera capture date, ensuring you always see the correct information.

100% Private & Secure

Your photos and their metadata never leave your device. All analysis is performed entirely by your browser — no uploads, no servers, no third parties.

Copy Metadata as JSON

Export the full structured metadata as clean, valid JSON with a single click — useful for developers, photographers, and anyone who needs the raw data.

Metadata Availability by Format

Metadata availability depends on the image format and what was embedded at capture time. The tool will always show what is actually available and never fabricate missing fields.

JPEG / JPG

Best metadata support. Full EXIF, GPS, IPTC, and XMP data when present. Most camera-captured JPEGs contain rich metadata.

PNG

PNG does not natively support EXIF. Basic file and image information is always available. Some tools may embed minimal metadata.

WebP

WebP can optionally embed EXIF metadata. Support varies by encoder. The tool reads whatever is available.

AVIF

AVIF metadata support depends on the browser and the encoder used. Basic image dimensions are always available.
